Who
Hi. My name is Vince. Some of you may know me as "pie". Some of you may not know me at all. Whatever the case, if you're reading this it's likely that you know about or have come across one or more of my projects. This place is a sort of hub for everything I find myself wrapped up in, as well as a journal of sorts for anybody who cares to know what I'm up to these days.
What
Foohon Pie Productions was bound to happen. I've lost count of how many times I've designed and redesigned, taken down and put up this site. This site has been many things, among them a satire news site, a webcomic, an IRC scripting resource, and more. It now serves as an index for my various projects.
Where
Living it up in San Diego, CA.
When
The Foohon Pie website dates back to 2003. Foohon Pie Productions was officially created on 02/28/06.
Why
Over the years I've had my fingers in many a pie. In other words I've headed many projects, some very successful and some not so much. Regardless of their purpose they have all contributed to my experience as a programmer and web developer. I created this site to keep track of all the things I've done, and keep people informed about all the things I am doing.
How
A long time ago I was very much a fan of php. While it still holds a special place in my heart, these days I am hacking away at perl.
This site was written in perl on top of the catalyst framework.
